Privacy Policy

Ripplemap ("the app") is a mind-mapping tool operated by BrosCo Designs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what choices you have. Questions: admin.dev@broscodesigns.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we receive your email address and, if you provide one, a display name. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address, name, and profile photo with us. We never receive your password.
• Your content. The mind maps you create — bubble text, notes, colors, layout, and project names.
• Payment information. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details directly. We never see or store your card number. We store your subscription status so the app knows which features to unlock.
• Files you import. Documents you import are read in your browser or device to create bubbles. The file itself is not uploaded to us.

The app does not contain advertising, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

How your content is stored

If you use the app without an account, or on the free plan, your maps are stored only on your device. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your maps are also stored in your private area of our cloud database (Google Firebase) so they sync across your devices. Access is restricted by security rules so that only your signed-in account can read or write your maps.

If you create a share link for a map, anyone who has that link and is signed in can open and edit that map. Share links are unguessable and cannot be browsed or listed. You can stop sharing at any time, which disables the link.

Service providers

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting of app functions.
• Stripe — subscription payments and billing management.

Data may be stored on servers located in the United States. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: open the left menu, then choose Delete account in the account section. This permanently deletes your account, your cloud-stored maps, and any share links you created.

You may also request deletion by emailing admin.dev@broscodesigns.com from your account's email address. We will action the request within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not automatically remove maps saved locally on your device; you can clear those using your browser or device settings, or by uninstalling the app. Billing records that we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes are retained by Stripe according to their own retention policies.

Children

Ripplemap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can use the app without an account. You can export your maps at any time as a file. You can cancel your subscription from the billing portal inside the app, and you can request a copy of the personal information associated with your account by emailing us.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
